The School was awarded a second specialism in the Science in July 2007. This will enable the School to further develop the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics and to further develop links with the rest of the curriculum.
The Science Specialism has given the School the opportunity to extend and enrich the Science curriculum, offering subjects such as Astronomy and Triple Science. Extra-curricular Science is extremely popular with after school clubs for Engineering and KS3 Science.
